Bright enough for our rather small kitchen. We were about to add a dimmer, but the recommended Lutron TGCL 153P is almost $25. That's more than half the price of the device. Also, this switch has gotten pretty good reviews, but some say it doesn't offer full brightness and others say it introduces a bit of buzz. Also, all dimmers appear to be single pole and three stage combined. So you're paying for what you don't need when you're just piloting from one place. I couldn't find a pole toggle switch. So let's stick to the switch for now.
