This is a high quality waterproof cover that stays on my duvet. I thought it was fabric but it feels more like nylon or plastic but it looks very nice. When my dog climbs on it (my bed), it rustles like a nylon jacket. It's very light but I sleep under it so comfortably that I got rid of the extra blanket. I'm not too hot and not too cold. In that regard, he's just perfect. I'm also amazed at how well it stays in place and doesn't slide off the bed. I think it was a great purchase. I was thinking of getting a second one to cover the bed in the unused bedroom to keep the duvet and sheets from getting dusty. My only issue is that it's not pretty enough to replace a duvet or bedspread. It's functional but not attractive. I think I could tuck him in and that would solve the problem.
