The case does not stay closed tightly when a Surface Pro cover/keyboard is attached. There are no problems with closing when the tablet is without a keyboard. the best available protection (especially cushioning) from falls. No pen holder. Some do not have footrest protection. Some do not allow the use of a stand. Some don't have good air circulation. The price of this case combined with the sleek looks, good customer service, and overall ease of use makes it worth it to me. I don't usually throw my stuff around, so the protection is enough for most days. .I am alternating this case with the Kensington case which offers more protection, a pen holder and a silicone strap on the back to comfortably hold the tablet with one hand. The Kensington's downsides are the extra weight and lack of a stand cover. .If I had to choose between the two, I would choose Kensington. If you can afford it, use both so you can work differently.
