Working. I mean what else can I say? This is a USB extension. It won't make you more attractive to the opposite sex (or same sex, if that's your thing). It won't buy you a beer, put a shielded USB arm on your shoulder, or sympathize with you for being unattractive. It won't take you to a ball game to hang out with friends to forget your worries. And doing something stupid like drinking too much beer, yelling at geese in the park, and chasing them in the water certainly won't get you out of jail. I mean what kind of friend is this usb cable? I give him a place to live, he uses my computer all the time, and I think he's watching my SCSI ports. And after I pulled it out of the bowels of the warehouse somewhere!
