Didn't know it wasn't a manufacturer original product (I think I should have known based on the price). The three-pin connector on the power supply is defective. The PSU itself literally fell apart. So you need to buy another power supply. Note: The power cord is a three-pronged cord, but the ground isn't actually connected to anything inside. It's just there. Since the original AC adapter cord that came with the laptop didn't have a grounding plug at all, I think that's fine. It's just weird that they have a grounding plug that serves no purpose.
