Review on Epson V11H795020 PowerLite 1780W Projector by Robert Prix

Very Good Car: Video Projectors

Excellent brightness and color. I wanted to show video and artistic photography, so I need a wide dynamic range to keep detail in shadows and highlights. The projector makes them available during the day in rooms with large windows in both normal and economy mode. I find it useful to dim fluorescent lights. However, the dark areas in the photo are not quite as dark as one would expect from a high quality monitor. I was able to stream video and audio from my MacBook Air over the projector's LAN in "fast" mode. I don't need to set up multiple computers in advanced mode. I downloaded the Wi-Fi app on my iPhone and I can only view limited content - photos, PowerPoint/Keynote presentations, etc. However, a wired connection with a VGA adapter is better. This shows the phone or iPad screen directly in portrait or landscape mode. I was recently showing friends a TED talk on my iPhone and pausing for discussion from time to time. It worked fine during video playback, but screen dimming worked when the discussion was paused for more than 2 minutes. Next time I will not forget to turn off the screen lock. I'm glad I didn't buy the 1776W. The only difference is that the 1776W comes with a USB dongle for quick switching from computer to computer. This only works on Windows, not Mac as I found out from the written documentation. Perhaps I could also get satisfactory results and save money with the 1761W, which has 2600 lumens instead of 3000. Decided not to risk it. hot, and after 30 minutes one side feels uncomfortably hot when you put it back in the case. Easy enough to handle without touching the hot side.
