Bought these to redye my yoga pants. I bought two packs and dyed 4 t-shirts, 3 yoga pants, a sweatshirt, a scarf, a sweater and a skirt. For the sake of a smile, I dressed in a pink t-shirt, a green t-shirt, and a white sweater because I knew I was taking a risk. I carefully followed the directions for my machine type, including adding 1 cup of salt halfway through. By resolving the color packets according to the instructions for my machine type, I found black to be the purple-based black I like best. Everything that used to be black is now very jet black. I am very happy with it. The material "to smile” turned out to be very interesting. The green t-shirt is now dark green, the pink t-shirt is now grey, and the white sweater is a very pretty dusty purple. I am very pleased with the simplicity and ease of use of this dye. It didn't affect my car in any way. I will definitely buy this product again. Edit: I have to say that the color only lasted about 3 washes. Then everything began to fade very quickly. It would be great if this continued.
