Works great. It's more like the old film cameras I had. I hated the DX format, it was confusing and never felt right to me. I also find that the colors are more vibrant with this camera than with my d90. Both lenses are working great so far. They are fast and sharp, just like zoom lenses. I can't wait until it's 110 degrees out so I can go outside and take pictures. I have to complain about the crappy packaging, Revane. I bought it together with the accessories that are sold separately. They cost about $100 and were in a box, in another box, in the last box, padding between each layer kept the boxes from rolling in. The $3,000 camera was a bunch of boxes from individual manufacturers in a Nikon kit box, in a big brown box that didn't fit well. I didn't see it when I signed because the UPS agent gave it to me right side up, but the whole back was dented and open, the Nikon inner box and one of the lens boxes were dented. What the hell? The large box had about 1 foot of free space that was "softened up" with a piece of crumpled brown paper. That does not work. In contrast, the smaller FedEx bag contained packing nuts and airbags. With the same success, the cameras could only be shipped in Nikon boxes as there was nothing to protect them. So far nothing seems to be broken.
