I bought this cable to replace my HyperX Cloud Alpha gaming headset. This cable fits into the correct hole/bracket. However, I cannot use the headset microphone function with this cable. It was a little frustrating to find that when chatting with another person, the microphone function didn't work and I could hear them perfectly. Finally, when gaming and listening to music, this cable kept falling out of its holder, effectively rendering it unusable. So if I was asked "does the cable work" I would say "yes" and then "good luck using it as it was intended, unless you like to play with one hand, hold." it in place and don't speak."
