Earthquake is a little known brand in the home theater world. Made a bulky thing but not for me. I use this on a stereo where the music comes first. My system is an Emotiva PT 100 tuner/preamp, a Samson active crossover and a Crown XLi 1500 bookshelf speaker (soon to be upgraded). It took a while to come through, as any subwoofer would. I use the iWoofer Pro app to control it. It also has a volume control which is not mentioned. Does what any good subwoofer does. What lengthens the bottom end, nothing more. If you're looking for an overdriven auto bass, look elsewhere. In general very satisfied.
