Works well; fewer accessories and consumables

Well it works but it comes with fewer accessories/products than similar kits and the instructions are pretty sparse. In fact, this is a tiny multi-cooker. You pour the wax beans into a bucket, turn it on and wait for it to melt. There is a power switch on the front, which is automatically set to 120 degrees Celsius when switched on. There is a + or - button to change the temperature (it doesn't go above 120). I found that 75 seemed like a good temperature for me. You want to test a tiny piece of wax on your wrist to make sure it doesn't burn you. There were four colors of wax beans in the set, but there was no indication of how they differ or what they do. I chose pink beans. They have a harsh, fairly strong baby powder smell that I really don't want to smell anymore. Using the wooden sticks that came with it, I rubbed it onto my leg in small sections in the direction of hair growth. I know from previous wax kits that the ideal thickness is around nickel or 2mm. Once the wax has cooled and hardened, quickly pull it off in the opposite direction of your hair growth. It's easy to do and doesn't hurt. I didn't have any significant skin irritation from it and it got MOST of my hair but left a few behind and I was having a really hard time in my knees. The included instructions said to place the collar on the potty prior to use. I assume it's a paper collar but there wasn't one so I didn't take it. You can see the wax forming little sugary threads that go everywhere. For this reason, I put paper towels. When you're done, simply leave the wax in the pot and let it set before storing.
