The good and the bad, not ugly

This razor gives a good cut where it cuts, but I'll get to that in a moment. It's been years since I've used an electric razor. . . ok, probably 15 of them. . . and if it's a cheap travel option, I might look at it again. I usually use a safety razor, I seem to have less irritation than a regular razor; but I had a long international flight ahead of me and didn't want to carry razor blades and shaving cream through airport security (hand luggage only). So I bought this. Let's start with the haircut: I would rate it as perfect, in the morning shaving I couldn't tell this haircut apart from my normal shave, but in the evening it was noticeably rougher but still acceptable. As I mentioned earlier, I ran into a problem here: First, I have a fast growing beard and while a regular razor wouldn't cause any hairs to stand out here, otherwise there wouldn't be any problems (they would be solved by shaving). the next day and invisible until then) with this razor on the second day, missed hairs would often be too long to be reliably trimmed with this razor. And secondly, and it depends on the person, this razor just didn't suit me, while my face was fine and without issues, my cheeks and jawline just didn't meet the razor's requirements; this meant several passes and a lot of time on the surface not to miss a hair here and there (see first point). This may not be a problem for you, maybe your hair grows slower or your face suits this razor better, in which case you should be fine. Personally, I will continue to use this shaver as a travel razor for an overnight stay or a weekend getaway, but not for a long trip; during my long journey i ended up with a disposable razor to "touch up" this razor every few days. Battery life: I have to rate it as excellent, I've been using this shaver every day for over a month with a thick, fast growing beard. and he's still ready for more. I used a reputable brand battery pack, your mileage may vary depending on the battery. Take the elastic: Now for my biggest issue, the protective plastic pad that comes with the fluff doesn't stay in place; This combined with thin foil is a recipe for damage. In fact, about halfway through my trip, the protective cover came off while packing for a day on the road, and the edge of the foil was bent. I was able to pop the dent out with the rounded back end of the tweezers and continue using it. I also used a rubber band to prevent this from happening again.
