I found that not all cables and software are created equal. I was having trouble cloning my new SK Hynix 2.5 SSD on my Windows 10 laptop. The problem was that I was using a cable (starting with "S" and ending with "brent"), a Sata to USB cable , which was on the label . my new SK Hynix SSD as "S" "brent" drive. A little self-promotion is not the end of the world. But SKH's cloning software is a crazy thing. It wants to automatically find a new SKH SSD before starting the process. So it couldn't find the SK Hynix SSD and therefore just gave an error and wouldn't let me continue. I found this SKL Tech Sata to USB cable and voila, problem solved. The SKH software worked without any problems and everything is fine now. I can say that for the money I spent this is an excellent cable and works flawlessly. Two thumbs up.
