Quality wireless headset with minor blemishes

GOOD: I like these headphones - they aren't exactly comfortable as they are smaller (but much lighter!) than I imagined when I bought them here. Seriously, very easily. Great sound quality, long range and CRAZY battery life! 40 hours of continuous use is no joke, sometimes I leave it on at night when I go to bed. Surprisingly, it also has a tiny mic hole with no mic rod (which can be removed); The mic hole doesn't always pick up very well, so it's best to use the included mic boom, but the detachability makes this model a better deal than others or other headsets in this price range. , and adds portability if you're worried about headphones taking up a lot of room in your bag, they're not. BAD: 1. Every time you turn it on or off, it takes 10 seconds to hold the button and it respectfully says "Welcome to Avantree! . Connected!” or "Goodbye”. Sometimes it doesn't recognize that you clicked it and you have to do it again. This can mean you have to wait up to 20-30 seconds before it actually turns on or off. A little annoying, but not a problem given the battery life. 2. Every time it connects, it sets the audio volume to 80 on Windows 10, no matter it was lower or higher before connecting. That's probably the worst part about them because I have to keep adjusting the volume - THEY ARE SUPER LOUD OVER 60!3. The build quality for adjusting the distance between the earbuds isn't great - they literally creak when I move them but don't move when I'm wearing them, and since I'm the only one using them I only adjust them when I need to. I pack things tightly in my bag, which is rare. In the long run a small annoyance and cause for concern. This one at least has a classy, clean, understated look and is more portable than bulky. I've had them for a few months now and overall I still give them a 5/5 because other headsets at this price point are very low quality, ridiculously big or ugly - definitely good value for money but for these legendary ones can they certainly need improvement 5th/7 rating.
