Review on Martex Super Soft Fleece Blanket by Diana Kemmler

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very thin, between a thick flannel sheet and a standard Polartec duvet

Soft. I haven't used it because I'm sending it back so I don't know how to delete it. Although the title says "lightweight", the only blankets this thin I've come across have been baby blankets designed for swaddling. normal temp. I thought "light" meant a lighter weight regular fleece blanket, but it's a lot thinner. Since I bought it in addition to a blanket to warm in very cold rooms, this did not satisfy my needs. Instead, I buy a thick fleece fabric off the yard and just cut it to the length I need. Since I bought a king bed to double horizontally (fold vertically) for a bunk bed, I will simply double the fabric horizontally to get two thick layers. This type of fleece doesn't need to be hemmed to hold it up, but it can be done. I can buy it to wrap myself up when watching TV, reading or sleeping in normal temperature, not in a cold room when sleeping, but I personally wouldn't buy it for warmth. If your expectations match what it is, it could be a great product and a lot of people love it.
