Of the three cordless phones in my set, one didn't work at all and one went dead in less than a minute. The third worked, but was used too often because I had to keep switching to it. I figured it was time to buy a brand new kit because I was concerned that the price of new batteries would be almost as high as new phones. To my surprise, the batteries were surprisingly affordable, simple and easy to install, and started working right away. My dead phone came to life and now works like new. My weak phone now holds a charge and works fine. This is one of the happiest purchases I've ever made.
