Five for looks, zero for durability

When I saw this pair of Aquawano I thought it would be a new brand discovery. On the sixth day of wearing the glasses, a nose pad fell off and was never found. I tried to replace the nose pad but the nose pad arm was bent (it's very thin) and I couldn't get the screw all the way in because the little head that attaches the nose pad kept bending. Finally dropped again! Anyway, there was no balance as the pad replaced was slightly larger and thicker than the one that came with the goggles and left the arm slightly bent. So here are a few points. When they arrived they looked lovely, very light and felt nice, although I did notice how flimsy the temples were. The jars looked very pretty but flimsy but you would expect them to last more than 6 days without falling apart especially if you are as careful with them as I am. Let me just say that I have used OTC eyewear for the last 18 years, mainly Foster Grant, Optx, Gammaray, Fiore and others. I tend to just leave my glasses at home and don't need them for anything other than reading, so I'm pretty happy with OTC glasses, they're cheaper and can change style if I change shoes. gave 3 stars for the value because they sent a microfiber cloth, a set of mini screwdriver keychains and a goggle strap. It's nice and at least I don't feel like I've been robbed and I don't think they meant to scam anyone. However, six days of sporadic use is not the time to lose your bridge of the nose! That's why I only gave them one star.
