The picture quality is acceptable but not very good. I was hoping for an improvement in the built-in laptop, but it turned out to be worse. The dynamic range in 2020 is embarrassing - if you're not paying attention to the lighting, the entire side of my face is completely overexposed to the *indirect* light falling on it from the window. blown out. I haven't seen dynamic range this pathetic in years; for $40 in 2020 I expect more. That's what I expect from a $15 no-name camera. Aside from being physical, it's designed for a screen bezel that's 20mm wide or wider, otherwise it'll droop and obscure your display. I have to attach it with tape or putty so it sits higher and doesn't block the screen. Its clip is also designed for a deep monitor and *just* makes it a stable mount with a modern slim mount. Overall I would recommend looking elsewhere. I chose Logitech to get a reliable product from a well known brand etc. I wish I had and I feel like a chump.
