We were a family of three cats until August when we lost Frank, the car I used to call "Ambassador". The other two cats hate each other, but Frank loved each of them and they loved him. When he left we suddenly had two single cats who were used to being with a companion but he couldn't stand the one remaining cat to cuddle with. As a result, our home has grown from three cats to two, and the number of cats trying to sit on my lap all day has increased to 200%. I'm pretty sure it's scientifically correct. I bought one of these nests after spending 40 minutes trying to get my brown cat, Barney, off my desk without trying to sit on my lap. I was hoping I could put the nest on my desk and he could jump in and sleep there. still be a viable plan. However, the first nest became so successful that they started fighting over it. A day later I had to buy a second one. Now I have two nests and two (reasonably) happy cats. Better yet, I have a free circle! I have had cats all my life and for the first time they preferred what was in the Revain box to the box itself.
