Review on EXski Dual Cock Wrist Splints by Gabriel Tomato

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very comfortable: hand and wrist braces

I bought a large splint for my left hand and it fits perfectly. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome for over 10 years and then went to hand therapy where they made me wear these backward curved wrist braces all the time or at night because both hands get numb at night while I sleep. I went through the 2 braces they gave me and another Futuro for my left hand which closes so easier but they only had 1 piece of metal in the palm as opposed to this one which has 2 pieces of metal (1 above and 1 on the underside of the arm). Because of this, my hands continued to get numb at night. Then a few weeks ago I painfully dislocated my left wrist and wanted to keep my wrist from twisting so I put on my old Futuro brace. Since it was old the metal broke below so I bought this ExSki track. I immediately noticed that it has more metal, although it's all easy to do by first loosely attaching the 3 shorter velcro straps and then slipping your hand through the brace and then wrapping it tightly with the long velcro strap. on your wrist, but don't over tighten it or it will hurt from the metal on your upper arm. I also found that the numbness I had for years while sleeping at night is gone! Maybe it's a double wrist brace? I just ordered another one for my right hand. I've only had it 3 days and can't comment on durability. I've already trimmed some hanging threads that didn't unravel anything. I don't wet it or take it off before going to the toilet. Oh, I drive, write and type in it and it doesn't affect my hand mobility but keeps my wrist straight.
