All comments relate to using the unit in a small bedroom. No $40 device should sound this good. Hands-free: The microphone is pretty clear; I had a long conversation at CS with my operator. And they understood me perfectly - the first pair was a problem. The first night he saw only one other device which I now believe belonged to a neighbor. It kept generating random passwords asking me if it was the right password and they were always wrong for the device. On the second night it saw both the name of the device I was having trouble with and the new device name and paired with the new device name with no problem. I was in the exact same place as last night. The line input (the best sounding input on my LG V20) tends to be static if the unit is moved at all. This is not due to the phone or cable, but to the device. So far no movement = no noise. The controls are intuitive, but they don't do their job properly. Each side represents one side of the stereo signal. Unfortunately, it is designed in such a way that left and right cannot be pointed at the listener. - Doesn't play Flac via USB, plays MP3. The manual does not mention this. Loads very slowly. The manual also says somewhat cryptically that it shouldn't be charged more than necessary (I got the impression the manufacturer thought it would die after a small number of charges). That pretty much sums it up. IF (IF IF IF) You have a line level playback device with good sound and line out, despite all the disadvantages, sound quality + hands-free quality costs $40. It's under $40 as an MP3 player or speakerphone (although it's a lot better than my phone's built-in speakerphone).
