Clumpy and unattractive

I washed the comforter straight out of the box for the first time and it was lumpy. The batting was unsewn and scattered randomly across the quilt. There wasn't much hitting in the beginning, so there wasn't much heat. The sides also barely extend past the bottom of the mattress, and that's for an 8-inch mattress. It would be possible to use at least another 6 inches on each side. It's a cute design but very cheaply made. Do not buy.
