My baby is 6 months old today and it took me 5 months to realize that these diapers were without a doubt the cause of my baby's diaper rash. We've only bought these pads from day one. They have such great reviews (I live and die by the reviews on Amazon) And these are the ones our hospital used, how can you go wrong right?! In about a few weeks my baby will have diaper rash that will last. back every few days. We have done everything. Tried all the extra strength creams, changed pads as soon as she got a little wet (sometimes wiping 15-20 pads a day), dried her ass completely after each wipe. The rash disappeared for a few days and then reappeared. Is always. She didn't have sensitive skin anywhere else on her body, we didn't have to cream her anywhere but her buttocks. We kept buying diapers. Size Newborn, Size 1, Size 2, Size 3. When my baby was about 5 months old, I ran over and my cousin came over and gave me a bundle of her brand "Sale/Generalist/Store" (hint: the store icon is a red bullseye ) until I could get more. The next day my child's rash was gone. I didn't pay attention *yet*, drove off immediately and bought another box of diapers. rush is back Something finally clicked and it occurred to me that maybe they were diapers. I got the brand name pads from the store (they actually have an elastic band on the upper back which really helps prevent blow out, the diaper is a little lacking. They're also cuter. The blue and green FTW circles). I wanted to wait a bit before writing this review to make sure it really is a low. It's been 3 weeks. zero problems. Zero. We didn't touch the extra energy desitin used EVERY night. I didn't even touch the creams. Now I just use a little dab of natural balm and my baby's butt is as white as the women in the cast of SNL. Anyway, I feel cheated. All that money wasted on those diapers (the store brand is 6+ cents cheaper PER PUMP! That shit adds up), not to mention all the wasted diapers changed after every juicy fart or little pee lick, money that wasted on creams. Balms/lotions and most importantly the discomfort these breakouts cause my Munchkin Mcnugget. All of this could have been avoided. save your money I live and die by Amazon reviews but in this case they let me down. I'm sure this review will get lost in the 2000+ reviews but I hope it helps someone.
