Impressed so far - paper towels

So far so good. As others have noted, they are crispy when dry but soften when wet and are still absorbent. It is amazing how easy they are to clean and how absolutely clean they look. Washed once in the washing machine, everything is fine. Probably the biggest problem is figuring out where the clean-washed ones live so I don't confuse them with the mostly clean, unwashed ones. I'm still not 100% sure on the math - maybe we're not a normal family, but we use about a Pt roll a week, which is a lot less than here. The last one I bought was about 3 cents for a towel, that's about £60, so I had to wash and reuse it at least 20 times to pay off. If they linger, it will work, but it will take time to get there. However, I think I like them better than paper towels for some functions. They clean better by hand, and because they rinse and dry well, whoever sits next to my sink to wipe the countertop isn't as rough as a kitchen towel meant for that purpose used to be. And fat from the stove is easy to rub off. Not very suitable for wipes as they are either hard or wet, and wet wipes wet. I haven't tried it yet for direct food use, e.g. B. for drying tofu or fried food, so can not report anything yet.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
