I bought these to keep our girls a little warmer in the harsh winter as two of our dogs have short coats. These jackets won't last longer than potty breaks in freezing temperatures, but they're in good condition for fall. The blue is lighter than I expected, but still not a bad color. I'm just waiting for the third jacket. I easily followed the size chart and used the largest bust size for all my girls. Overall true to size, exact measurements are a must. UPDATE: The third jacket has arrived and it barely fits my dog. 2XL and 3XL were perfect but I would suggest going for 2XL if unsure of XL size. We also did velcro on a jacket in just a week. I'm a bit disappointed with this and the sizing issue of our third jacket, but will try to trade XL for a larger size.
