Review on Powerful 230W AC Charger for Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53 & Triton 500 PT515-52 Laptops - Efficient Chargers for ConceptD 7 CC715 Series by Jermall Meredith

I bought this adapter because my Acer Predator Helios 300 ph315-53-72XD was having problems about 3 months after purchase. Where is the power adapter that came with it? The laptop just shuts down, is still plugged in and switches to battery and the two power lights start blinking and beeping. The socket it plugged into got very hot and I think it shorted out. Over time, this started appearing almost constantly when you even played simple games or even kept the computer temperature below 65C. I was worried it was a laptop but I'm here to say this adapter completely solved the problem. Since then this has never happened again. No overheating, no super hot spikes, no random shutdowns. Fits tight and problem solved. I actually contacted Acer's tech support as well and since I still had 1 year of warranty left they also sent me a free power adapter but I'll just keep it as a backup because at least I know it's working better so far and I'm worried that the new Acer adapter will run into the same problems again in a few months. Aside from the better performance, I would also like to point out that the PSU box itself is slightly wider than the one that came with the laptop.
