Not an impossible task, just tedious.

It took me a few (3) hours to complete this but I took my time and had trouble figuring out my new home button that I needed to install. In my opinion this is definitely not a one hour project unless you are a pro. First off, I'm not a techie, but I can be handy, so $60 vs $300. It was worth trying. Worst-case scenario, I'd spend $400 on a new iPad. At best, I saved a lot of money and learned a new skill. I recommend watching a few YouTube videos first before ordering, and I personally watched the videos WHILE installing. It helped me visualize what to do. You have to be VERY careful with the right middle and bottom side of your iPad. I got confused removing the screen and damaged the home button cable and had to spend an additional $10. Also, I lost my Touch ID capabilities because I didn't reuse my original. With so much damage I've suffered, I personally might not have been able to prevent the damage. So far the quality seems about the same as my OEM BUT I immediately go for tempered glass as an extra layer of protection that I normally put on glass. It didn't happen when my daughter stepped onto my original screen. The adhesion is still perfect.
