The cable itself is great. It was exactly what I needed to use with my DMX lighting controller. The big problem I had was that I really had to connect it on one end to the bare wire on the other. Of course I was able to cut/strip it without any problems. The problem I had was that there was no indication of the colors of the wires or where they were numbered. Often these wires on cables are a different color than the controller you intend to use them with. This is a little frustrating if you're looking for something other than everyday plug-and-play. I tried very hard to find the spec or manufacturer's notes, but I couldn't find anything on the internet at all.
