More than I really need for dinner; However, they have proven to be excellent seals - they have NEVER leaked. With some starch, this is the perfect portion for me. leave the two-thirds (top) to fill with the dish itself. I like that the caps and gasket are very easy to remove for fine cleaning. They look great in my fridge - they bring me joy and I can't explain it, but they are AWESOME. Food keeps better and longer in the jar; I'm not sure if this is scientific, but it appears to be true. They are of very high quality, I'm sure they will help you with your food preparation and even portion size π
