Review on QSHAVE Parthenon Razor Adjustable Settings by Katie Harris

After paying too much to buy cheap disposable razors for too long, for me (I'm 60) it was a return to 'normal'. This is a beautiful, well made, smooth action, highly adjustable razor. I want it to come with a stand to show off how stylish it looks. The adjustment ring allows you to set the angle of the blade exactly where you want it (which also allows you to change the angle as the blade wears out to prolong its usefulness). I would love it but after using it daily for two weeks I decided to return it because; 1.) It's quite heavy and slow to use; 2.) This big chrome head is like a razor hammer, so each stroke needs to be either long and slow or short and slow to control momentum and maintain proper pressure when hitting. Essentially, the Parthenon worked well, but it took almost twice as much time and effort to shave with this design. I was expecting this to require a bit more attention on a traditional razor so I won't shy away from my return to double-edged blades, but I'll have to settle for a lighter, less attractive and more functional design.
