I put it on the socket under the armrest because I have a lot of LEDs and a touchscreen radio plugged in. By the way, this is a 5th generation Camry. This is great because you can monitor the battery so you know when to start the car. My battery is running low cuz I'm cooling my car down to 11.6. If I see it coming to 11.5 I'll turn it on until it gets to 13.7 when the differential is 2 volts or I don't know what I'm seeing but at least 11.4 is a definite danger zone for my cars. It's really cool to be able to watch and see. It really takes the guesswork out of when to charge the battery. Any feedback helps. I wouldn't say I'm an expert on car batteries.
