Review on Kodrine Tumbler Silicone Protective FREE Amber by Adam Nelson

I love the way this bottle looks! It's really adorable. It's also quite durable having fallen off the counter and not broken. Unfortunately, the wooden lid smells of plasticine and the straw has a slight aftertaste. I use very well filtered water and I'm used to having no taste or smell when drinking from a glass. I am disappointed in this bottle. I washed it in the dishwasher but the smell/taste hasn't gone away. I want to love this bottle but it's hard with these problems. If the manufacturer or another customer has any suggestions on how I can remove odor and taste, I'm all ears.
