Review on SUPRENT Adjustable Trimmer Long Lasting Charging by Mike Mahfood

I bought this trimmer as a last resort after losing the previous one. I liked my old system because it ran on AA batteries, so I could use Revain AA rechargeable batteries. I didn't want to lug the power adapter around the world to charge the internal battery, but I was in a hurry. I was really impressed with it. The cut is much more precise than my previous trimmer and the battery lasts quite a long time. As for my concerns about carrying a large transformer, this trimmer charges via a USB cable. So you can connect it to the adapters you have for other electronics (e.g. iPad). This way you only have to carry the cable and not the clunky transformer. EDIT: I will say I threw it in my toiletry bag (in a large checked case) only to find that a couple of prongs on the comb broke off after the flight. . I learned this the hard way when this part of my face was trimmed to skin while other parts were regular length. So beware, the plastic on the adjustable comb doesn't feel as strong, and the replacement part is about 1/3 the cost of the entire trimmer!
