Let me start this review with a little background. This is my 3rd lower glowing led strip for my car, I had two breakdowns; One broke due to a broken cable in front of the LED strip and the second because water got into one of the LED strips on the side. Let's just say I'm very cautious about buying my third LED strip. And I have enough experience in their installation. Pros: - Very bright - More coverage (looks fuller) - More settings (lots of LED options) - App is easy to use - 3M lasts very well (20 car washes and some snow and rain) - Seems to be waterproof. (Read more ↓) - Multiple installation options (just a push in or screw in) This is something I constantly get compliments on when they are with me and at night, at car dealerships etc. So far this is the best best led strip that I've had one for my car as I've only had it for about a month. My last two broke within the first and second month. I will leave another review in 3 months explaining if they stopped or not and how they are doing. Well, to slightly tweak the water resistance of these lights, I covered each end of the LED strips with hot glue to protect it from water. I RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS TOO. They say they are waterproof and I believe them, but as an extra measure I added some hot glue where each wire connects to the LED strip and I think it's necessary. As for the wiring, I decided to connect it directly to the battery and fuse. I didn't go with the 12 volt cigarette lighter option because then you would have to go through a firewall. And I'm lazy. Wiring is very easy and the box has quite a range to connect to my phone's Bluetooth. The car doesn't have room on the rear fender to put an LED strip without touching my exhaust. But I think this is a problem that many cars will have, I ended up using zip ties and hanging them a bit higher in the floor of the trunk, but because the LEDs are so bright you can still see them and it's fine is working. As for the fact that it's difficult to install, I installed three and this one was probably the most difficult, but that was partly because I also wanted to make sure they lasted by running them through the wheel wells under each one . Plastic under the tray and a slot for me to thread the wire through. (If this is your first and you are going to install it, make sure you don't place it near a differential, axle, or moving vehicle suspension parts, springs, etc.) I strongly believe it depends on the installation you do , long they will last, i installed them pretty well, i hope they last a long time. Advice, take your time, DO IT RIGHT. Took me almost 4 hours but at least I know they are there and not going anywhere. But it wasn't easy, to say the least. A little later I will post photos of the wires routed in the LEDs. As well as some good photos of my car with the LEDs on. AFTER TWO MONTHS: Okay here it is, the left side is broken, all the LEDs are broken including the front center back, there were a few LEDs that are still lit but they stay on even if I turn them off with the app. Now luckily for me and every other buyer they have great customer service. After contacting these people with the problem and sending them a picture of the problem, they immediately sent a brand new replacement. from all lightbulbs. It's amazing not only will I be able to replace the broken ones but if I take a few more breaks now I'll have a full replacement for this site it's a pain I'm in. to reinstall them but at least they sent me a new set and was no problem. So my 5 star rating still stands. I will install a new left led strip and give a 5 month review. Cool, so it's been a while and they've held up. I think this is a permanent solution to my lighting problem. I took some pictures and will attach them. I hope this review helped you make a decision.
