Our dog loves wet food. She always goes on a hunger strike unless wet food is added to her dry food. As soon as some wet food appears on top, she eats everything. It's the wet equivalent of her kibble - ever since we switched her from another kibble she's been eating a grainy version of salmon and rice for a sensitive stomach (which in itself was funny because she didn't have any of it). slow transition, she chose the old food and threw it on the floor to eat the new one). At least she doesn't eat it. Honestly I can't blame her, she looks awful, she smells awful. It's a lot thinner than I imagined, more like a soup than a stew or regular pie. It's hard to describe, but you can't smear it on a cracker, it just oozes out. Maybe we had a bad batch but we went back to the drawing board to find a new alternative to wet food when the regular brand is out of stock. And I need to figure out what to do with the other 11 banks. If you try this, you can try picking up a jar from the grocery or pet store. I figured it would be a win-win since she likes the dry version.
