Why didn't I get one like this a few years ago? I want to know where my glasses are. No cat knocks them down. It came in two parts. It must be connected by magnets. I plan to glue them with hot glue. I see no point in detaching the cup from the base and it does when knocked. I can grab my phone or watch and disconnect them. But it's beautifully made, looks good and serves its purpose.
