This "wooden" organizer has had both good and bad reviews. I prefer to believe the good reviews which was a BIG mistake! The top and bottom are not made of wood and are so thin that you can almost see through them. It's not worth the price. It was a birthday present for our granddaughter. She likes an old real wood sewing box I have from the 80's so I thought I'd order something similar. NO! I couldn't find anything else so we decided to keep it and remake it. We replaced all the flimsy screws with bolts, nuts and washers, replaced the flimsy hinges, added more wood to the bottom, to make them stronger attached a quarter circle at the top so I could put a piece of tile inside. To make it more durable I decorated the bodice with the buttons I had and dyed it while we took it completely apart. It turned out beautifully, but we put another $40 and a lot of time into it. I would not recommend this product.
