So this is a great trash can BUT two important things to note:The lid will not close UNTIL you install the black piece that's in a little baggie and taped to the base of the outer can. It slides right in the top hole where the lid closes, with the two little pincer-looking thingies facing up. There's a picture in the Ebay description down low on the page that shows you what this should look like.Second - this doesn't have two separate compartments - it has notches in the middle of the top of the inner can (the inside black can) so you can hang two separate bags. However, that would make each side TINY so we just use one bag and it works great.Once I figured those two things out, the rest is fine. It's great for our RV bathroom and one in the craft room as well. It's as durable as something you would get from Walmart and probably more durable than something from the dollar tree. It keeps our dogs out of the trash just like we wanted. It's nifty :)
