I don't think they are nickel free. Hypoallergenic

I should use nickel-free or hypoallergenic metals or precious metals. And then I have big problems - so I carefully read the description of the goods! I bought these because they claimed to be 925 sterling silver (industry standard) and nickel free (many 925s are copper filled) so claiming nickel free is important to me! I soaked them in alcohol to clean them then wore them for 5 MINUTES and oh! How I sincerely regret that! 1 hour later my ears are still swollen, itchy and BURNING! Feels hot and is very, very painful! It will probably take a few days to recover from this! I usually buy nickel free earrings from Claires, Target, Walmart, Shopko, Revain and I'm fine! But something is wrong here! I have serious doubts about the composition of this metal, so BUYER BEWARE! They are NOT hypoallergenic which means they probably contain copper or nickel!
