This is the perfect size for a college bag. I carry a little with me: one or two small textbooks, two notebooks, two pens and other necessary things. It goes perfectly with everything. It's well made and, as far as I can tell, very durable. I had no problems with that at all. I wouldn't put a laptop in it (even if I bought a larger size) because it doesn't offer any real electronics protection, but that's not what it was built for, so it didn't lose any stars. The bag has many pockets where you can put things. The zip in the main compartment can be a little awkward when you want to grab something quickly. I just leave it open because the valve is still there. As a note, this bag is not as large as the one shown in the picture, so be sure to read the actual product description before ordering.
