My glasses are lightweight plastic frames with thin lightweight plastic lenses. I figured the weight of my glasses wouldn't cause the pain that some other reviewers complained about. However, I was wrong. After wearing glasses with the nose pads on for about 5 minutes, I can feel the nose pad digging into my skin. It leaves a dent and is uncomfortable to wear for a long time. When I tried to remove the pads they left a lot of marks. We're just afraid that no matter how "light" your glasses are, these pads are just plain uncomfortable to wear.
