Review on Thyroid Shield Radiation Protection Equivlancy by Kevin Hawkins

Arrived neatly in its own box and sealed plastic. After reading about thyroid health (I have hypothyroidism) I was recommended to protect my thyroid with these shields during dental and all other x-rays. You would think doctors would recommend them to patients with hypo/hyperthyroidism, but. They don't. Smh This is good for short or long necks and fairly adjustable for thick or thin necks. The weight is slightly lighter than a 16 ounce bottle of water. Comfortable and not very heavy. However, I can't imagine wearing it around my neck for hours. Although some people do it for work. Excellent investment. I didn't spend any money at all.
