The color is light, as in the picture. I wouldn't necessarily call it a severely emaciated body. If you are a curvy girl (big D and big boobs) I would recommend going up a size. (See my height and weight for reference) Also, I can't wait to wear this in the summer. The fabric has a certain elasticity. The bra straps are adjustable but that odd twist is a bit annoying, other than that I'm happy with my purchase.
