This is a review of iPearl mCover Hard Case for 11.6 inch Dell Chromebook 11 3120 Series released after February 2015 with 180 Degree Rotating LCD Screen (NOT compatible with Dell C11 210- ACDU, 3180, 3189 series) (pink). Last year, our school district decided to make Chromebooks available to all students. Added to this were technology fees and the need for internet access for all students at home. And yes, a Chromebook case. Having never used or planning to use a Chromebook, we now had to figure out which case would work with a particular model. Thankfully, other parents have let us know that there is a cheap option at Walmart, and that there are plenty of them. Hooray! The price was right and it fits. Unfortunately, the word "cheap" can describe the price or quality of a product. Cover meant both. Weeks broke the tabs on the case. The cover soon burst and we added a lot of tape to hold it together. At the end of the school year, the suitcase looked like an elephant was sitting on it. Seriously, the case was almost useless. Luckily, my daughter took very good care of the Chromebook and we weren't charged for any damage. This year we needed a better deal. Yes, it was more expensive than the Walmart special. However, this one is actually durable. And it's pink! So far we've done it a block away and it looks brand new. Will definitely take this again. I'm not sure if he'll be in good shape at the end of the school year to be reinstated next year, but he has a good chance. However, I'm sure it does its job of protecting my Chromebook and saving me from extortionate Chromebook replacement fees. Highly recommended.
