Bought a year ago and forgot I had it. Last weekend we went skiing and my hands stayed warm. Sometimes they were even hot. The temperature remained at 0-4°C. The cuffs went up very far, so it was convenient to tuck in the sleeves of the jacket. However, as with other mittens, it is difficult to put on the second mitten, so seek help if possible. I usually liked the glove lining in the mittens (we have Burton mittens too), but I find them warmer and not too heavy to turn inside out to dry (although my insides weren't wet at all). I've considered keeping them as a backup for my Burton, but I feel like I can use them as my primary and keep the Burton as a backup. Skiers and snowboarders need impregnation. I will keep both because I feel my hands might get sweaty and uncomfortable at a slightly higher temperature. I usually like to take my mittens off and use the liner to check my phone, take a photo or video, so Burtons are better in that situation. However, if it's just about keeping hands warm in cold weather, I'd rather pin the photo to someone else and just leave hands in gloves :) The max frost we rode in was -10 degrees Celsius with that Wind. My toes were so cold I couldn't think of toes, but next time I'll choose them over Burtons.
