Review on Fintie Rotating Degree Protective Feature Tablet Accessories by James Lesley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I've tried several iPad Mini cases. I returned this one.

I needed a case for my new iPad Mini 5th Gen (2019). I need a case with a rotating stand so I can use some apps in portrait mode. I'm very picky about design and function so I bought several cases to try. This sleeve is a black FINTIE spinning sleeve. It is very well made and durable. The plastic bracket fits the iPad Mini and holds it securely. There is an iPencil holder and a wide elastic band to keep the case closed. There were several reasons why I didn't like this case. Numbers are circled numbers on photos. (1) The slots in the base that hold the bottom edge of the iPad Mini are too big. It was difficult to get the iPad into different positions and they made the case unwieldy when closed. (2) The cover does not fold when used in the hand position. It is very uncomfortable and awkward to hold (3 and 4). The stand folds in halfway down the width or length of the iPad (as indicated by the arrows). In portrait mode, the iPad can only be inserted into one of the two slots, which prevented me from selecting my preferred viewing angle. For personal reasons, I wanted the top of the iPad Mini to be a little closer to me and the bottom a little further away. In other cases I've tried, the stand's crease was higher, closer to the top of the iPad, and this gave me a better angle in portrait mode. I returned this FINTIE case for the iPad Mini. A NOTICE. In case I kept this one: https://www.amazon.com/Cover-Degree-Rotating-Multi-Angle-Viewing/dp/B07YV9Z7NL/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
