Doesn't stay open - in hand

This is a useless case if you also want to hold an iPad. When surfing in bed or in the car - when you need to hold onto your iPad - this case is useless. Main reason: There are no magnets on the back, so the case doesn't stay open. Why didn't they put a little magnet inside to hold it open?
