I purchased this dress last minute for a wedding. I am 5’10” tall, well over 300 pounds, apple shape with a large belly, and a 48dd. 3x was perfect, dress nearly hit the floor on my tall stature, which is what I wanted. I got the dark orange/burnt orange looking color. It complements brown skin very well. The pleating effect at the neckline and waistline sets this dress apart from a standard maxi. The cut at the shoulders gives visual interest. That shoulder cut did not bother me, as some women had issues with. Strapless bra is a must. Got lots of compliments. The elegant tie at the back of the neck was a great excuse to wear a curly side ponytail, which I hardly ever do, so the tie was visible. Was surprised at the weight of it, for the cost.
