My girl has a slightly overweight neck (14 inches) and stomach (18 inches) due to surgery, so we wanted something that wasn't too restrictive. She can run without tripping over her skirt and the nice open neck gives her freedom of movement. That's long enough to cover her ass and it doesn't stop her tail from wagging at full speed! I'll hem the straps a bit and they should fit her perfectly. In addition, the dress is VERY soft and durable!
