UPDATE: This container has been used Monday to Friday since purchase in November. The food stayed hot from 06:00 to 11:00-12:00 every day until 3 days had passed. On Monday, my friend said his lunch was barely room temperature when he opened it. I re-read the instructions and made sure the gasket was in place. The next day the same thing happened. I noticed that the outside of the container was a lot hotter than when I filled it with very hot water to preheat it. I examined everything carefully and found a small rusty hole formed in it. I'm so disappointed because it was the perfect packed lunch for him. I bought it to pack hot meals for my boyfriend. He eats a lot and I had to find something big enough to feed him. I was more than impressed! It holds about 3.5 cups of groceries. From the moment I wrap him up until he eats it takes about 5-6 hours and the food stays hot. I always preheat it like the instructions say and it works like magic. I highly recommend.
